COSMIC MESSAGE
Thor's Helmet is a cosmic bubble over 30 light-years across, blown by the fast winds of a Wolf-Rayet star. This star, near the bubble's center, is extremely hot and massive, thought to be in a brief stage before a supernova. The helmet-shaped cloud, cataloged as NGC 2359, sits within our Milky Way galaxy.
