COSMIC MESSAGE

On a moonless May 6 morning, cosmic dust from Comet Halley streaked through the dark skies, creating the Eta Aquarid meteor shower. This image captures a meteor trail pointing back to the shower's radiant in Aquarius, above the local horizon. The meteor is seen moving left to right across the arc of the Milky Way.
