COSMIC MESSAGE
On the night of March 17/18, 2015, a spectacular umbrella of northern lights unfolded over backyards in Vallentuna, Sweden. This display was a result of the strongest geomagnetic storm of that solar cycle. Auroral displays were captured at even lower latitudes, including sightings in the midwestern United States. The space storm began when a coronal mass ejection, launched by solar activity, reached Earth two days prior.
