These two images, taken ten hours apart, show the Sun and a nearly full Moon in the same spot in the sky over Östersund, Sweden. Both are surrounded by circular ice halos, created by ice crystals in the atmosphere. Jupiter also shines above the waterfront lights in the night scene.
