COSMIC MESSAGE
How different does a sunset look from Mars compared to Earth? These two images, scaled to the same angular width, show our common star at sunset. From Mars, the Sun appears slightly smaller because Mars is 50% further from the Sun. More strikingly, the Martian sunset is noticeably bluer near the Sun than an Earth sunset.
