The Bubble Nebula, NGC 7635, is pushed out by the stellar wind of a massive central star. Next to it, a giant molecular cloud resists this expansion, containing the bubble's gas. The cloud is blasted by hot radiation from the bubble's central star, heating dense regions within it. This interaction creates a dynamic boundary in space.
