COSMIC MESSAGE
This striking aurora display was captured just outside of Östersund, Sweden. The green light stretches across the sky in a sweeping arc. Six photographic fields were merged to create this almost 180-degree panorama. Lake Storsjön is visible in the foreground, and constellations, including Polaris, can be seen through the aurora in the background.
