Jupiter's Europa from Spacecraft Galileo
Europa, one of Jupiter's moons, is a cracked and dirty ice ball. Speculation suggests that oceans might exist beneath its fractured ice plains, potentially supporting life. Recent Hubble Space Telescope images show plumes of water vapor emanating from the moon, strengthening this idea. This image was captured by the Galileo spacecraft.
