COSMIC MESSAGE
This is our Sun, but not as we usually see it. The image, taken in a specific red light, was then inverted in color and added to an inverted starfield. Filaments of gas and dark active regions are visible on the solar disk. Prominences, which are arcs of gas, peek out from the Sun's edge.
