Cassini's infrared views of Saturn reveal many details, including intricate cloud bands and storms. Most striking is the unusual hexagonal cloud pattern around Saturn's North Pole. Each side of this dark hexagon is roughly the width of Earth. Its origin and stability are still subjects of scientific research.
