Saturn, shining brightly, is near opposition in Earth's sky, rising at sunset and visible all night. It lies near a line-of-sight to crowded starfields, nebulae, and obscuring dust clouds along the Milky Way. This two-panel mosaic shows Saturn above the dusty Pipe Nebula, just beyond the end of a dark river to Antares.
