COSMIC MESSAGE
This beautiful composite image shows 48 Geminid meteors raining down on a wintry landscape in northeastern China. The meteors were captured during the peak hour of the shower, despite temperatures of -28 degrees Celsius. They appear to stream away from a radiant point near the bright stars of Gemini, the Twins.
