COSMIC MESSAGE

Orion, a constellation rich in nebulae, hosts M78, a bluish reflection nebula about 1,500 light-years away. It spans about 5 light-years across, its color due to dust reflecting the blue light of hot, young stars. Reflection nebula NGC 2071 is to the left of M78, and more compact nebulae are to its right.
