A Plurality of Singularities at the Galactic Center

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

This Chandra Observatory X-ray image reveals a group of a dozen black holes near our galaxy's center. These black holes are part of binary star systems, each with 5 to 30 times the mass of the Sun. They swarm within about 3 light-years of Sagittarius A*, our galaxy's supermassive black hole. Yellow circles indicate other X-ray sources, some of which are neutron stars.
