NGC 1333 is a reflection nebula about 1,000 light-years away in the constellation Perseus. It glows with the blue light of hot young stars reflected by interstellar dust. This region is a stellar nursery, spanning about 15 light-years. You can see hints of red emission from hydrogen gas, a sign of ongoing star formation.
