This image is a digitally stitched 360x180-degree mosaic of Earth, taken high in Chile's Atacama Desert. The domes house the 1-meter telescopes of the SPECULOOS Southern Observatory. These telescopes search for exoplanets by detecting the dimming of light as they pass in front of their stars.
