COSMIC MESSAGE

A big, beautiful spiral galaxy, NGC 7331, sits about 50 million light years away in Pegasus. It is often compared to our own Milky Way. The galaxy's disk is tilted toward us, which makes it look like it has a lot of depth in long-exposure photos. It is one of the brightest galaxies not in Charles Messier's catalog.
