COSMIC MESSAGE
The Great Lacerta Nebula, cataloged as Sh2-126, is one of the largest nebulae in the sky, spanning about three degrees. It is roughly the same angular size as the Andromeda Galaxy. This emission nebula is faint, making it difficult to see with wide-field binoculars, but its size also makes it challenging to view with a large telescope.
