COSMIC MESSAGE
The Horsehead Nebula, a dust cloud about five light-years tall, is sculpted by stellar winds and radiation. It is 1,500 light-years away in the vast Orion cloud complex. The dark cloud, cataloged as Barnard 33, is visible because it is silhouetted against the glowing red emission nebula IC 434.
