COSMIC MESSAGE
The MAGIC telescopes on La Palma, designed to detect gamma rays, reflect a starry night sky. These 17-meter mirrors capture the brief flashes of light from high-energy particles hitting Earth's atmosphere. On July 20, two of the telescopes were pointed towards the Milky Way's center, searching for these cosmic signals. This image also features Comet NEOWISE, a visitor from the outer solar system.
