COSMIC MESSAGE
A rising Full Corn Moon was captured in this time-lapse image from nearly 30 kilometers away. The telephoto lens makes the Moon appear unusually large. The image was taken from Portugal, with much of the foreground, including lights from the village of Puebla de Guzmán, in Spain. The name 'Full Corn Moon' is given to a full moon at this time of year by some northern indigenous cultures.
