COSMIC MESSAGE

The Moon's shadow raced across Earth's southern hemisphere on December 14, 2020. Sky watchers along its path saw the only total solar eclipse of the year. During the eclipse, a glistening diamond ring effect was visible, even through clouds, just before and after totality. This fleeting spectacle occurs when a sliver of the Sun's disk peeks from behind the Moon's edge.
