Orion appears sideways on northern winter evenings, its familiar stars caught above the trees. Below Orion's belt stars, the Great Nebula glows a faint pink, a stellar nursery. Betelgeuse, the giant star at Orion's shoulder, has a warm, cozy color, as does another familiar stellar giant.
