COSMIC MESSAGE
Watching a meteor shower is best done under a dark sky. The fainter meteors become visible without light pollution. This composite image of the Perseid meteor shower shows the difference between a dark sky in Slovakia and a moderately dark sky in the Czech Republic. The Milky Way galaxy itself stretches across the two images.
