COSMIC MESSAGE
M33, also known as the Triangulum Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy in our Local Group, only 3 million light-years away. It has an abundance of glowing hydrogen gas, particularly in its giant HII regions. These regions are some of the largest known stellar nurseries, where intense ultraviolet radiation from massive, short-lived stars ionizes the surrounding hydrogen.
