COSMIC MESSAGE
Fireflies illuminate the moonlit countryside in southern Uruguay, contrasting with the Geminid meteor shower above. This composite image, taken on December 13-14, faces south, opposite the shower's radiant. The meteor streaks appear to converge below the southern horizon, at an antiradiant.
