COSMIC MESSAGE
These cosmic clouds of gas and dust drift through star fields along the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy toward Cygnus. They are too faint to be seen with the unaided eye. This 10-degree wide field of view, created from narrowband filter data, reveals a region with star-forming dust clouds silhouetted against the glow of atomic hydrogen.
