This moonrise over Limfjord in Denmark shows crepuscular rays, which are beams of sunlight or, in this case, moonlight, made visible by dust or water droplets in the air. Even though the Moon was only half-lit, it created a dramatic display as it rose below scattered clouds near the horizon.
