The new James Webb Space Telescope took this infrared portrait of Jupiter. Its high resolution reveals previously unseen differences between high-floating bright clouds and low-lying dark clouds, even in the Great Red Spot. Also visible are Jupiter's dusty ring, bright auroras at the poles, and two of its moons: Amalthea and Adrastea.
