Comet Halley returns to the inner Solar System every 75 years. Its dusty debris creates two annual meteor showers: the Eta Aquarids in May and the Orionids in October. This composite image compiles Orionid meteors captured from 2015 through 2022, including those near the shower's peak on October 21.
