Aurora around Saturn's North Pole

Saturn's auroras glow around its North Pole, much like Earth's. The Hubble Space Telescope and Cassini spacecraft worked together to study them in 2017. This image combines Hubble's ultraviolet views of the auroras with optical images of Saturn's clouds and rings. Saturn's tilt made its North Pole visible from Earth during Cassini's final orbits.
