COSMIC MESSAGE
Thor's Helmet, NGC 2359, is a hat-shaped cosmic cloud with wing-like appendages, about 30 light-years across. This interstellar bubble is blown by a fast wind from a bright, massive star at its center. This central star is a Wolf-Rayet star, an extremely hot giant in a brief, pre-supernova phase of its evolution.
