Blue Ghost's Diamond Ring
During a total lunar eclipse on March 14, the Blue Ghost lander on the Moon's near side captured this video frame of Earth. From the lunar perspective, this was a solar eclipse, with Earth silhouetted against the Sun. The image shows the Sun just emerging from behind the terrestrial disk, creating a beautiful diamond ring effect.
