The Veins of Heaven

These noctilucent clouds, also known as night-shining clouds, were captured over Vallentuna Lake in Sweden. From about 80 kilometers above Earth's surface, these icy clouds reflect sunlight even when the Sun is below the horizon. They are usually spotted at high latitudes during summer months.
