COSMIC MESSAGE
The Perseid meteor shower, which peaks tonight, appears to originate from the constellation Perseus. The sand-sized debris that creates these meteors comes from Comet Swift-Tuttle. As Earth passes through the comet's orbit, these particles burn up in our atmosphere.
