COSMIC MESSAGE
The Horsehead Nebula is one of the most famous nebulae in the sky. It appears as a dark indentation in the orange emission nebula on the far right of this image. The horse-head shape is an opaque dust cloud in front of the bright emission nebula. Like clouds in Earth's atmosphere, this cosmic cloud has assumed a recognizable shape by chance.
