The steerable 60-foot dish antenna of the One-Mile Telescope at Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory points skyward. Consecutive 30-second exposures, recorded over 90 minutes, reveal gracefully arcing star trails. These trails reflect Earth's daily rotation on its axis, centered on the North Celestial Pole.
