A Long Storm System on Saturn

One of the longest and largest storms ever recorded in our solar system occurred on Saturn. First observed in 2010, this cloud formation began larger than Earth and eventually encircled the entire planet. The Cassini spacecraft, in orbit around Saturn at the time, tracked the storm up close, providing detailed infrared images like this one, which show deep clouds in orange and high clouds in light colors.
