Comet Lemmon has two bright tails, but this image appears to show three. The zigzagging brown filament is actually a persistent meteor train, which by chance appeared in front of the distant comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon). A meteor train is hot gas and fine dust left in Earth's atmosphere after a bright meteor. The two bright tails are the blue ion tail and the white dust tail.
