NGC 1333 is a reflection nebula, appearing blue from starlight reflecting off interstellar dust. Located about 1,000 light-years away in the constellation Perseus, it is a stellar nursery. The region is at the edge of a large, star-forming molecular cloud. This close-up view spans about 15 light-years, showing detailed dust and hints of red emission.
