Saturn's F ring is a narrow band of ice and dust, kept in line by two small moons, Prometheus and Pandora. These "shepherd moons" orbit on either side of the ring, their gravity pulling stray particles back into place. This interaction creates a structure with two narrow braids and several knots. It is a dynamic dance, shaping the ring over time.
