The Clouds of Neptune

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

These Hubble Space Telescope images show the dynamic atmosphere of Neptune, the most distant gas giant in our Solar System. Voyager 2 gave us the first close-up of Neptune's clouds in 1989. From Earth orbit, Hubble can watch how the planet's massive weather systems change over time. These pictures were taken in October and November 1994.
