COSMIC MESSAGE
Astronomers are studying this fuzzy blob, hoping it's the key to the gamma-ray burst mystery. The bright object in the center is fading rapidly and is thought to be the first optical counterpart to a gamma-ray burst. If this object is housed in a galaxy, that galaxy should become identifiable once the central emission fades.
