COSMIC MESSAGE

The Sun once again sent a burst of particles toward Earth. This storm, one of the best documented to date, began on a Monday. Ground monitors of the SOHO spacecraft observed a weak spot in the solar corona buckle, releasing a large Coronal Mass Ejection. Simultaneously, NASA's WIND spacecraft detected radio bursts from the involved electrons.
