On April 4, 1997, Comet Hale-Bopp blazed with both tails in the western sky over Ujue, Spain, just after sunset. This fisheye lens view captures much of the night sky, including thousands of stars, several constellations, and a planet. Sirius shines brightly near the edge, and Aldebaran is near the center, with Orion and Betelgeuse also visible.
