NASA APOD · Olivier Staiger
COSMIC MESSAGE
A young Moon shines over Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, fighting through clouds and city lights. The thin, sunlit crescent is 1.5 days old and appears overexposed in this image from March 10. The night side of the Moon is also visible, illuminated by Earthshine, which is sunlight reflected from Earth. Just below the Moon, bright Saturn shines through the clouds.
