Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, the second person to walk on the Moon, is pictured here during the Apollo 11 mission. He and Neil Armstrong landed on the Moon while Michael Collins orbited above. They left a plaque reading, "HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH FIRST SET FOOT UPON THE MOON JULY 1969 A.D. WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND."
