Sun-like stars, and probably planets, are forming inside Lynds 1551 in Taurus. Radio telescopes at the Very Large Array can image the dusty proto-planetary disks around these young stars. This image shows twin disks in a double star system. The yellow bar indicates the size of our solar system.
