COSMIC MESSAGE

The Horsehead Nebula is a dark indentation against a red emission nebula in Orion. The bright star near the center is in Orion's belt. The horse-head shape is an opaque dust cloud, blocking the light from the bright nebula behind it. Like clouds on Earth, this cosmic cloud has taken on a recognizable form.
