COSMIC MESSAGE

The Subaru Telescope captured this infrared view of the Orion Nebula, also known as M42. In infrared, we can see stars in the Trapezium cluster that are usually hidden. The orange feature is the Kleinman-Low Nebula, affected by the star IRc2. Blue emission comes from hot gas ionized by the Trapezium stars.
